Some junk, these guys aren't really finished but ill ditch them for now to work on some other things. Got to do some more studies and finish one more pic so I can have me a portfolio!

Last Teen Standing

Did this for last teen standing over at conceptart.org it got me into doing more enviroments, having a ton of fun doin them at the moment.

Still trying to get a new portfolio together so I can send it to white wolf for the third time, It should be done pretty soon, got 2 paintings on the way now. Need to quit my job cleaning dishes damn it!!

The first pic was for teen chow99 over at conceptart.org it was pretty fun, but I think I need to plan out my stuff a lot more. 100 is coming up in a week or so, should be able to work on something a little more complicated.

Some scribbles plus the coloured version of that last greyscale below. learnt quite a bit from that last pic, might do a couple more like it. anyways havn't got much to say, but ill try and get better soon!!

Here's some stuff, unfinished though because I don't have the skills. learnt a lot since that orc painting going to try and finish up a decent illustration pretty soon, got to work on lighting and values.... and colour and every other fundamental skill. Did that greyscale as a practice, trying to keep things super simple.

Ilya Repin Master Studies

Some horrible scribbles to disgrace and crap all over the original beauty of Ilya Repin.

I think these took around 2 hours each or so, (must force myself to do a long study) Never get sick of Repin and am always shocked to find colours I never would of dreamed of in skin, hair and other areas. Black hair full of green, yellow, purple and blue….. 0.0 ahhh ok.

Edit: just uploaded these guys again with a few touch ups, still not totally happy with them as usual but every painting is just about better than the last.

Sad news: Frank Frezetta passed away today at the age of 82. RIP Frank.

Not sure if this guy is totally done, looks really unfinished but I’m not smart enough to push it any further. Probably could if I tried a bit more..... Maybe ill go back and work on it some more.

might have just enough paintings put into a portfolio, not sure though some of my older stuff are a little painful to look at haha.

Just finished my first freelance gig this week! it was pretty cool. Forced me to really get something done, now I can put this sucker straight into the portfolio.

I’m still doing studies and all that as well as working on more portfolio pieces. Should be able to update again pretty soon with that stuff.

Finished an illustration, feel like this painting was a bit of a break through, starting to try and implement a lot of my studies into my original work and it seems to be working pretty well. Anyways tons of stuff to improve on so ill be back a little bit later with some more work hopefully! Got to keep getting better!!
